Genuine since 1914
Oprechte Veiling Haarlem, literally
translated Genuine Auction of Haarlem, is
located at the Haarlem Notary Home, which
has a longstanding reputation dating
back as early as 1914. Estates and
household furniture were first
auctioned by the Notaries’ society
of Haarlem and its neighbouring
municipalities, and from 1917 by Theo
Brinkman and his staff. The interior of
the auction house at Bilderdijkstraat 1a
in Haarlem has remained virtually
unchanged and still breathes the
atmosphere of old. In fact, even the
auctions are authentic: real and genuine.
